practice

Listening, mostly.

Sound
Humming, mantra, chant and the shruti box. Feeling vibration move through the body.
Breath
Pranayama, and the quiet ways breath and sound can settle the nervous system.
Stillness
Yoga nidra, meditation and rest.
Philosophy
The ideas that hold the practice together.

a workshop

So hum

I am that.

A guided humming practice built on one of the oldest mantras: the sound of the breath itself, so on the inhale, hum on the exhale.

It explores how humming and slow breath reach the vagus nerve, which runs from the brainstem to the belly, and how that can quieten the whole system. It ends lying down, in silence.

The BEYOND Retreat

A singular opportunity to gather, as fresh yoga teacher training graduates, in the idyllic setting of the UNESCO-listed Dolomites: to celebrate our achievement and take our first supported steps as yoga teachers together.

Practising, teaching and exploring. Let's step into the BEYOND together.

The greatest moment in our lives is when we allow us to teach each other. Go BEYOND to feel the oneness of the unity.

The blackboard

The afternoons belong to the group. Each of us chalks up something to share: a class, a breath practice, a talk, a sound meditation, a walk, a ritual. As practical as one posture under the spotlight, or as esoteric and experimental as you like.

Every session leader is invited to add a page to the keepsake booklet.
